200 GRAM CLARITY VINYL 45 RPM set – 4 SINGLE SIDED PRESSINGS

New and unplayed incredibly rare 4lp box from Classic Records, Muddy Waters Folk Singer. The shrink is put back on because this box was hand selected by the distributor at my request. The band around the box was placed back on and they shrinkwrap was slipped back over the box. The jpegs you see are from my own set. Before Classic Records was sold to Acoustic Sounds a small run of 45 rpm Clarity Pressings of Muddy Waters "Folk Singer" were produced in anticipation of releasing a Clarity 45 rpm version of the title. The 4 single sided 45 rpm pressings, packaged in white boxes and complete with a tip on style jacket inside were recently uncovered. This may ultimately become the most rare and sought after Classic Records title as it was never released in Clarity as a 45 rpm set and only a small quantity exist and they are gone at the distro level, and will never be pressed again. I have three other pressings of this lp, two of them audiphile (Classic Quiex SV-P and the MFSL), and an original in near mint condition. While the original is tough to beat and the Classic Quiex is pretty incredible, the box gives the listener an incomparable experience. Buddy Guy plays with Muddy on this LP, along with Willie Dixon and Clifton James. This pressing is truly amazing, and it's priced well.
