INFO : Mudhoney hail from Seattle forming in 1988 following the split within the seminal local band Green River by vocalist Mark Arm and former guitarist Steve Turner.
This very difficult to find unique Oz pressing (their 1st ever release) is chock full of noise/garage rock with very loud distorted psych guitars and pounding drums. The result is a hurricane of sound … rebellious vocals, energetic, noisy, angry, anxious, heavy, and incredibly raw.
Aside from their peers Nirvana early grunge doesn’t get much better with some incredibly heavy and sludgy songs here reminiscent of Blue Cheer in places.
