The above songs can be listened to in 2 ways:

As mp3 files, each an isolated multi-track. (Up to 10 mp3s per song,)

    OR

As .mogg files (more about them below) containing the whole song split into 10 multi-tracks, which can be played altogether with individual tracks turned on and off at will.

MP3 files

There are generally 10 mp3 files per song, each file being one of the isolated multi-tracks, e.g. for I Feel Fine, there are 10 mp3 files: one file has the main guitar riff on it (plus a little rhythm) while another has just the lead vocal, and another has just the bass, etc.

mogg files

The .mogg files are broken down into 10 individual tracks, comprising in most cases:  

1-2: Drums
3-4: Bass
5-6: Guitar
7-8: Vocals
9-10: Additional Overdubs

The .mogg files can be played all together allowing you to turn off and on individual tracks, for instance to just hear bass, drums and vocals together. I’ve spent hours doing it. It’s stupendous. Mogg files are played using the Audacity application which is also included, along with instructions.

If that all sounds too complicated, it’s not. (Though my attempted explanation is probably pretty confusing!) Believe me, I’m no computer expert and I found it all really simple. But any queries, just get in touch and I’ll help you out.

Here’s part of a review I found on-line:

“Some of these 'multi-tracks' are not true presentations of the original 4 or 8-Track recordings, but in most cases they are. The multi-tracks on the majority of the songs are the real Beatles multi-tracks, but on a few songs the tracks have been spliced together by Miles Martin (George’s son) from the original masters and on some of these numbers the drums don’t sound quite right to me when isolated (like they have some kind of phased effect on them) though that doesn’t go for all early drum tracks - the isolated drum track on Ticket To Ride for instance is as clear as day and fascinating. Also, on a few of the early numbers the bass tracks are pretty muffled, like they’re blowing out the speakers but I believe from what I’ve read that’s just how they were recorded.

They’re the only issues I’ve found, and even those songs are generally fantastic. For instance, you can hear the original guitar solo for Can't Buy Me Love (Take 4) during the vocal overdub for this song, and this is only one of many hidden gems. In summary I’d say that, despite those minor quibbles, for any Beatle fan it’s all just absolute gold dust.”

The Audacity application (included in purchase, with full instructions) is extremely simple to load and use. It works on Windows 7 and Windows XP. (I haven’t tried it on Windows 8.)
