Description
One of the rarest artifacts from Eddie Cochran’s catalog of obscure session work, and the only vinyl copy I’ve seen (the shellac may actually be more common). It’s a four track EP with vocals by Peggy Lawrence and music by Neely Plumb. The sound is 1950’s teen in a variety of modes including hillbilly-esque and Latin, but I wouldn’t call this a rockabilly record except for Cochran’s participation. Eddie’s guitar work is most prominent in the jazzy leads of “I Need You Now” on side 2. The other tracks are “Oop Shoop,” “If I Give You My Heart” and “Skokieann.” Condition is a strong VG; some light scuffs, but strong playback throughout (no skips or recurring clicks); some mild label wear.
