MUSKETEER GRIPWEED & THE THIRD TROOP - 'HOW I WON THE WAR'/'AFTERMATH'
From the 1967 film of the same name & credited to 'Musketeer Gripweed (John Lennon's character in the film) & The Third Troop
The track itself features Ken Thorne's orchestrated theme interspersed with sound effects & snippets of dialogue from the film
The record barely sold or was even noticed on release and stock copies are now harder to find than demos
The disc is on the solid centred black & silver United Artists label: UP 1196
Matrix numbers: 45 UP 1196 A-1 & 45 UP 1196 B-1
Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/R
Housed in its original United Artists company sleeve

Both are clean with just some light scuff marks on the 'B' side label, but no writing, stickers or missing paper
Visual: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: GOOD
Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy with some light surface storage marks on side 1. Side 2 is downgraded due to two 1.5cm feelable scratches, but is otherwise clean & unworn. Both sides of this barely played copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing. Impossible to find in any condition
Sound Quality: Side 1: EXCELLENT Side 2: GOOD
The 'A' side play very well and is free from any significant audible wear. The 'B' side however has a repeating click lasting for about 90 seconds but is otherwise unworn
Cover: VERY GOOD
