Description
Artist: My Bloody Valentine
Title: Ecstasy
Format: LP (Limited 3000 copies)
Record Label: Lazy Records
Cat. No: LAZY 08
Country of origin/Year of release: UK/1987
Sleeve condition: Excellent Rare original Rough/Textured sleeve (this album was produced with a really difficult sleeve to keep in pristine condition as it so relatively fragile and susceptible to wear. this is the original non laminated lightweight limited rough/textured sleeve that can wear very easily. i have graded it as excellent but if anything i am being harsh with that grading and given the fragility of it, it could easily be graded as excellent+. there are no virtually no creases whatsoever and no splits or marks. there is virtually no seam wear whatsoever and just very minor circa 3mm wear to bottom right corner. the spine is in great shape. i honestly think that given the rarity and delicate nature of this sleeve this is possibly as good as you will ever get
Vinyl condition: Excellent (just a few very light paper marks and very minor signs of careful gentle handling. labels are also excellent)
Other information: This is a real rare MBV record that you don't see come up very often. Original release of only 3000 with rough/textured non laminated sleeve. If you see a copy with a gloss type smooth finish to the sleeve it is not one of these original copies. Original machine stamped matrix runout on both sides. Genuinely think you would have to a long way for a long time to find a copy of this in better condition
I have a collection of literally thousands of 10", 12" & LP Punk/Post Punk/Indie/New Wave/Alternative/Industrial/Shoegazer/Garage Rock/Lo-Fi/Thrash/Space Rock/Electronic/Avant-Garde/Reggae vinyl records. I am a private collector not a dealer and any items I sell will be from my personal collection. I will not be listing prolifically but will be doing so from time to time and often with some rare and collectable items. Please check my other auctions and keep an eye out for future listings.
Majority of my auctions will start at £0.99 with no reserve and leave the selling price to be determined by those that want the item the most.
Every record I have ever acquired has been placed immediately into a brand new PVC cover to protect the outer sleeve and where applicable vinyl has been removed from inner picture sleeve and placed into a paper sleeve to protect both vinyl and inner sleeve. As such every record I have bought new remains basically 'as new' or as close to it as you are likely to get no matter how old it may be. However, I have not bought every record in the collection new and therefore where this applies my methods will have kept the item in the same condition as it was when I acquired it. I will to the best of my ability follow the grading system used by ‘Record Collector’ (see below) but I may add a + or – to a grading to help fine-tune the condition report. Please note that vinyl will be visually graded only. Furthermore, I will grade as strictly as I can whilst drawing a balance between honest appraisal and not wanting to put off a buyer by over analysing the item for sale. Condition is often a matter of personal judgement and just to say that I have often had an item sold to me as mint but I would not consider it as such. The age and rarity of an item may also tweak the grading.
Record Collector’s grading system
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be mint. ??
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. ??
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
??GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.??
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Terms & conditions
I describe every item for sale as accurately as possible and provide as much information as I can or that is deemed necessary for a particular sale. I welcome any questions prior to auction end and I will do my utmost to provide an accurate reply (due to other commitments I cannot guarantee a reply to any question sent within the last 12 hours of the auction).
Communication is the major factor with eBay, as we all want to avoid any possibility of a bad experience. Please make sure you ask any questions you have before auction ends and if you have any doubts then it is possibly better not to bid. Once the transaction is completed I will only accept an item to be returned if it can be proved that I have in some way mistakenly misrepresented it. In any such circumstances communication is again the key, as any problems can always be resolved. As with all auctions buyer remorse or change of mind is not an acceptable reason for return and would make it unfair on others who may have submitted bids.
Payment conditions & postage
UK buyers I accept PayPal. Alternative payment methods may be accepted but must be by prior agreement before auction closes.
International buyers I accept PayPal only. No exceptions.
Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end.
Postage costs will be added to the final bid price.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS MY RECOMMENDATION THAT ALL ITEMS BOUGHT BY AN OVERSEAS BUYER BUT ESPECIALLY THOSE FOR A FINAL SALE PRICE IN EXCESS OF £50.00 ARE SENT BY 'INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR' OR 'AIRSURE'. THIS WILL INCUR A FURTHER SHIPPING SURCHARGE OF £4.00 IN ADDITION TO THE QUOTED PRICE. IF AN OVERSEAS BUYER DOES NOT CHOOSE THIS OPTION THEN ONCE I OBTAIN PROOF OF POSTAGE, ULTIMATE DELIVERY IS ENTIRELY AT BUYERS RISK. ALTHOUGH NON-DELIVERY IS RARE I WILL NOT OFFER ANY REFUND IF I HAVE PROOF OF DISPATCH BUT ITEM IS NOT DELIVERED AND 'INTERNATIONAL SIGNED FOR' OR 'AIRSURE' WAS NOT CHOSEN. BUYERS PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR PREFERRED OPTION BEFORE MAKING PAYMENT AND I WILL INVOICE ACCORDINGLY
All records will be sent in purpose made mailers with vinyl taken out of picture sleeves (inner & outer) and placed in a paper sleeve to prevent seam splits during transit. At least two cardboard stiffeners will be used and sleeve will be extra protected in PVC cover within package.
