Description

Up for sale is this 1988 Canadian Mercury 12” EP (catalog 874 343-1) by shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine, from their breakthrough year. This is the scarcer international compilation pressing that combines tracks from the You Made Me Realise and Feed Me With Your Kiss EPs.

Condition (honest grading):
•  Vinyl: Excellent (EX). Surface clear and bright with no visible defects. Plays cleanly with no major issues — tested and sounds excellent. Suspect my test play was the second time its been on a turntable. •  Sleeve: Excellent minus (EX-). Original black-and-white abstract artwork with slight shelf wear along the open edge. •  Shrink Wrap: Carefully slit/opened (not fully sealed but still protecting the sleeve). •  Promo Bio Sheet: Included and in good condition — the original one-page press kit bio with the classic 1988 band lineup photo (Kevin Shields, Bilinda Butcher, Colm Ó Cíosóig, Debbie Googe), career notes, and acclaim quotes. Rare to find with the record!
This is a desirable early MBV collectible from the pre-Isn’t Anything era, capturing their noisy, melodic shoegaze sound. The Canadian Mercury version is harder to find than the standard UK Creation pressing.
Perfect for fans of shoegaze, Loveless, or 80s/90s indie. Great addition to any serious collection.
