My Bloody Valentine - Strawberry Wine - 12" EP on Lazy Records
This rare 1987 EP marked the departure from the band of singer Dave Conway and the joining of Bilinda Butcher, who has shared vocal duties with Kevin Shields from this release to date. Sonically, these 3 superb tracks along with the "Ecstasy" mini album (please see my other listing) already exhibited a complexity of production that steered MBV away from their peers into new territory.
This EP was later combined with the Ecstasy album by Lazy Records against the band's wishes to form the "Ecstasy and Wine" compilation, however these original releases are much rarer, and it's said that the mix of Strawberry Wine on this EP (and possibly the other tracks) differs to that on E&W. Completists take note!

Sleeve is in superb condition but has a small triangular tear in one corner, however the integrity of the sleeve is still intact and it is only noticeable on very close inspection, almost invisible unless you look inside the sleeve (see photo). The vinyl is in excellent condition, with just some light surface marks marking it down from Mint.
