My Bloody Valentine - Sunny Sundae Smile - 12" EP on Lazy Records

This rare 1987 EP (recorded 1986) is the last MBV release with their original vocalist Dave Conway, and already by this time he had toned down his sub-iggy vocal histrionics, with his voice lower in the mix and more evidence of Kevin Shield's backing vocals and harmonies, and his musical influence overall, as their direction moved more towards bubblegum feedback pop and the burgeoning "C86" scene. It was also their first release on Lazy records, forming a double-edged relationship that would last for several releases.

Sleeve has a little flattening in one corner and evidence that it has once been bent/creased at this corner, but this is only noticeable on close inspection and is otherwise in impeccable condition, as is the vinyl, with just some light surface marks marking it down from Mint.

The reverse of the sleeve is rotated 180 degrees from the front, but whether this increases its rarity or was the case for all sleeves i'm not sure!
