Hello and welcome to myauction for this copy of this brilliant and groundbreakimg LP, MyLife In The Bush of Ghosts by David Byrne and Brian Eno. It's a 1stissue UK copy from 1981 on EG, and I must say it is a beautifulsounding record, the kind you might use to demonstrate the quality ofyour audio system..
I've been collectingmusic for 45 years, but have recently decided to drastically slimdown my vinyl collection, therefore you might want to check my otheritems for some desirable records from the 1970s through to the 2000s.You might find some items of interest and you could benefit fromcombined postal discount
I've always cared formy records, played them on high quality gear at low tracking forcesand stored them upright within PVC sleeves. All my listings will beplay-graded with a full description of what I hear. I know what'simportant to you as a vinyl fanatic, and I won't shy away fromtelling you about any defects I find.

Cover Type:Smooth thin card..
Cover Condition:Thesleeve is virtually perfect The spine printing is fully legible. Theonly thing to report is some very minor wear on the bottom edge.
Inner Sleeve:Original plain paper inner, fine condition.

Record Warpage:none
Play Area VisualCondition: Both sides are clean, no serious marks.
Label Condition: Both labels are clean with no spindle marks.
Playback Comments:This album plays perfectly with virtually silent deadwax. If I werebringing this home today from a record shop I'd be very happy withit as a new purchase.
One note about“hairline” and “scuff” marks. These marks, mostly visible inthe runout deadwax sections are caused by slipping the record in andout of the inner sleeve, and are present on most used records, seenwhen inspected under bright light. They generally don't affect theplayback quality, because the stylus sits within the groove, notabove it, and it doesn't pick up any unwanted noise from surfacemarks. I therefore don't mention surface marks in the visual gradingreports, unless I feel they are unusually severe and are contributingto flaws I hear in the audio grading section.
