Description

This is a poster advertising the record MY WHITE BICYCLE by the group TOMORROW who later became known as 'Yes'. This is one of the famous Hapshash series of posters from the late 1960s by artists Michael English and Nigel Waymouth.

The poster is black light reactive and measures approximately 20" x 30". It is a true silk screen print, each colour being applied separately. The silver area of the print is metallic and adds a real dimension to the image. Condition is very good, with no discolouration, and only mild creasing in the fragile silver areas . Rare beige background version.

The Hapshash series included posters for bands such as The Who, Pink Floyd, Arthur Brown and others.

This is on of a number of undistributed posters found with the family of original printing agent TSR, with the aid of the late and great Alf Bicknall, chauffeur for the Beatles in the sixties.

This is a NO RESERVE auction, so the highest bidder WINS! When offered in the past this poster has sold for anything up to £400.

This is one of the very last few of this poster in good condition. There is some mild creasing in the silver areas. Will look great framed.

Shipping is £5 in UK. Packed carefully into a heavy, wide tube, to avoid creasing and keep flat.
