NARA LEAO: NASCI PARA BAILAR (1982), PHILIPS 6328475, BRAZIL, 33 1/3, LP
Late and great album by the muse of Bossa Nova, Nara Leão. With arrangements by Joao Donato, compositions by Caetano Veloso, Joao Donato, Martinho da Vila and others. Most noteable, on this album there are the only ever studio recordings of two Chico Buarque versions of Silvio Rodriguez songs, "Supõe" and "Imagina só"! You cannot find these songs with Chico Buarque lyrics anywhere else ... a must for Chico aficionados and collectors.
Rare original Brazil LP. Cover has some light staining here and there, ring wear on front and back (see pictures) = VG+
The record plays almost as new, only sometimes there is a light crackling in the empty or lead-out groove = M-

Unless otherwise noted, my records are play-graded. I play through all records on a Technics SL-QD33 with a Technics P30 stylus. Grading and comments on sound are purely my opinion and therefore subjective. The same record/LP may sound different on another system or setup. Please contact me with any questions. All of my records are carefully packed in sturdy cardboard mailers. I will add two cardboard supports, and the record will be out of sleeve to prevent seam splits.
