Description
For auction is NAT ADDERLEY's "Work Song," on Riverside RLP 12-318, MONO, DG, small label, 1960. With Wes Montgomery, Bobby Timmons, Percy Heath and Sam Jones.
SOUND: VG+
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall outstanding playback! The slightest bit of surface noise, an occasional soft tic, keep it from a better grade. But really a very nice listen! Solid VG+!
VINYL: VG+
There are faint scuffs or hairline marks on either side. Under close examination all appear superficial. The small, deep-grooved, blue "mike-and-reel" labels are in very nice condition. A few faint spindle marks.
JACKET: VG
The jacket is worn on the edges, with partial splits and fraying on all sides. Front and back covers are good, fairly clean with an average amount of routine wear. Only a "promo" stamp on the back cover, otherwise unmarked.

A terrific record in very nice condition, plays great! No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
