NAT ADDERLEY – You, Baby (1968) CTI-9-3005 – FACTORY SEALED (cover/vinyl) RARE QUIEX AUDIOPHILE PRESSING

A highly regarded classic by the great Nat Adderley in a really groovy electric session joined by Joe Zawinul who plays some super funky electric piano, Ron Carter on bass and Grady Tate on drums with arrangements by Bill Fischer. This has a Miles Davis vibe to it, and it’s often described as being one of the better releases on the label that was known for merging pop and jazz. This album was originally issued in 1968, and this is the high-quality audiophile half-speed pressing from the Audio Master Plus Series in 1983-1984. It’s pressed on virgin Quiex imported vinyl and all of the pressings were cooled for 24 hours to prevent warpage. It is in a gatefold cover sealed inside a thick poly “permanent” baggie as described on the informational sticker on the cover.

This is a perfect copy. It’s an original that is still factory sealed with a hype sticker on the front cover and some original prices stickers that may have been from the Record Bar record store chain. Beautiful! I grade this conservatively: M/M (cover/vinyl). FACTORY SEALED
