An all-time classic and highly-prized very rare classical LP: the great, great Milstein plays Bach pieces for solo violin, on Capitol PCR 8370, 3-LP boxed set. The hands-down best recording of this music ever made, and probably Milstein's masterwork on record. I have the CD reissue and it sounds wonderful, but when you hear the real original LPs you will not believe your ears. This album sounds so amazing there is nothing else like it. My breath was taken away... I had to listen to all six sides (very very carefully) to be sure there was no issue with the condition, and I was mesmerized. This is one of the best records I have ever heard in this genre. And by far the best condition copy I have ever seen. This copy is MINT. The discs are absolutely perfect, and the cover only has the slightest of shelf wear, hardly worth mentioning. The best copy you will ever find of this masterpiece.
