Second album from NAZARETH. VERY hard to find on the purple PEGASUS label with A1-U/B1-U matrix. This one is in GREAT nick as well!
COVER; The unlaminated gatefold cover has some MINOR rubbing round the edges and a little bumped corners. The FAINTEST beginning of ringwear on back. One breath away from NEAR MINT, I would say. But VERY GOOD PLUS to please you all out there…(The term excellent is NOT used!)
VINYL; The vinyl shows GREAT lustre. When held under strong light, one can see one or two faint hairlines from some angles at most. Visually clearly NEAR MINT. The audio experience is TOP NOTCH as well, with hardly any intrusive crackle at all. A keeer for sure!
LABELS; Both labels are very clean with some very light spindlemarks, indicating that this record has been played carefully and probably a handful of times at most. The label on side A has a rubberstamp of an apple(?) Please see the picture.

I use GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS – MINT/NEAR MINT/VERY GOOD PLUS/VERY GOOD/GOOD/POOR. I only use the term "MINT" when the record is factory sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) means NEAR MINT both visually and audible! VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) is the same as EXCELLENT (EX) in other grading systems. My ambition is to provide an as accurate description as possible and I do not try hide any defects or other flaws on the record and cover. GOLDMINE GRADING STANDARDS
MINT ---- It should appear to be perfect. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains, labels or writing, tears or splits. Mint means perfect.
NEAR MINT ---- Otherwise mint but has one or two tiny inconsequential flaws that do not affect play. Covers should be close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident: slight ring-wear, minor denting to a corner, or writing on the cover should all be noted properly.
VERY GOOD PLUS ---- The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. Not too far from perfect. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve or the vinyl or some of the original lustre may be lost. A slight scratch that did not affect play would be acceptably VG+ for most collectors.
VERY GOOD ---- Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl lustre, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise, but should not overwhelm the musical experience. Usually a cover is VG when one or two of these problems are evident: ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains, etc.
GOOD ---- Well played with little lustre and significant surface noise. Despite defects, record should still play all the way through without skipping. Several cover flaws will be apparent, but should not obliterate the artwork.
POOR ---- Any record or cover that does not qualify for the above "Good" grading should be seen as Poor. Several cover flaws
