STUNNING MINT AUDIO! VINYL LOOKS AND SOUNDS VIRTUALY UNPLAYED! UNBELIEVABLE 36 YEARS OLD LIKE THIS!!

Another from my personal collection! I purchased this from new in 1973! This has been stored in a case for all of this time, only initially played a handful of times only! Unbeivable to find like this! The vinyl is truly stunning and looks almost as new in my opinion! This is the real thick and chunky slab on vinyl only found on 1st pressings and produces absolutely top audio without any nastyalmost  interfearance, just cristal clear and vibrant, as good as it gets in my opinion plays near mint! This is so collectable features mega early stampers for this pressing 'look' ''1'' 'GH'' AND ''1'' ''GL'' mother stampers   This would have been the very early off the press!,, from my experiance the earlist stampers produce the best audio qauality available on vinyl,, later press produce a much blander and lwess vibrant audio in my opinion, which is why the earlist 1st pressings are so desirable to record collectors! Please do not underestemate the rarety of this album! Highly collectable like this!!  The gatefold cover is the original earliest 1st issue, in at least excellent condition with just light rubbing ware with age , featureing 'Marketed by B&C records (only 1st press) !

Nazareth was formed in December 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, out of the ashes of semi-professional local group The Shadettes (formed in 1961) by vocalist Dan McCafferty, guitarist Manny Charlton (ex Mark V and The Red Hawks), bassist Pete Agnew, and drummer Darrell Sweet. They took their name from the first line of The Band's classic song "The Weight"!!

The band moved to London, England in 1970, and released their self-titled debut album in 1971.[ After getting some attention with their second album Exercises, released in 1972, Nazareth supported Deep Purple on tour, and issued the Roger Glover produced, Razamanaz, in early 1973!

This collection spawned two UK Top Ten hits, "Broken Down Angel" and "Bad Bad Boy" This was followed by this album listed ''Loud 'N' Proud'' in late 1973, which contained another hit single with a hard-rocking cover of Joni Mitchell's song "This Flight Tonight". Then came another album Rampant, in 1974, that was equally successful although it did not yield a single.A non-album song, again a cover version, this time of Tomorrow's "My White Bicycle"!! 

Razamanaz is the third studio album by the Scottish rock band Nazareth, released in 1973. It was the band's first LP record to break the charts. Original UK pressing was released on the Mooncrest label!

The Vinyl

This is the Thick heavy slab of vinyl (only found like this on 1st pressings) later press were much more flimsier and less robust! On initial inspection I can barely see a blemist this looks like new! It is obvious that this 36 year olsd vinyl has barely ever been played at all! Any marks that could possibly ever be seen in strong light would only be sleeve removal only and non audio sounding at all. (To be honest I cant see any)! Visually absolutely stunning! (NO) marks that would cause any clicks or pops!

The audio quality

I have played this through track for track prior to listing at very loud volume on a top system! Please note! I have had this album from new and the vinyl has only ever been played a handful of times ever! The audio is as good as it gets in my opinion! Very near Mint Audio! Cristal clear and very very vibrant through out!  (no) clicks\ticks\pops absolutely stunning!!! Audio grades as good as it gets!! near mint!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd isolated very light static  (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 38 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 38 year old system!

This album has been stored in a case laying dormant for at least 35 years! A build up of dust and dirt in the grooves over the years causes static crackle\ticks! ,,, A constant clean before each play is recomended! This will reduce any interferance and will enhance the audio quality!

The Record Sleeve

This is the plain white paper sleeve 'Made in Great Britain' is featured, also 'patent no.' there are no splits or tares just slight browning with age (please note the vinyl is now stored seperately from the cover and sleeve!

The Cover

This is the original 1st issue unlaminated gatefold cover, features 'Marketed by B&C Records' Printed by E.Day & Co on the inside of the gatefold! (only 1st issues) There are (no) real creases worth to mention! Minor creases at the spine only are very small. Any who know the nature of these original cover would know how hard they are to keep in good condition, these are often seen in a terrible state! There is some general light rubbing ware with age but (no) splits or tares! In fact all writing can be read clearly even at the spine with is amaizingly square (often seen flattened with age) This cover must be at least excellent if not better in my opinion!  .
