Original 1968 NBC TV Private Issue "THE BING CROSBY SPECIAL"
"The Bing Crosby Special" starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Miss Stella Stevens, Jose Feliciano. Special guest stars Diana Ross & The Supremes.
"This album cannot be sold, broadcast or used for any commercial purpose." This note is written on the back cover. While on labels can be read: "This album is intended for file and reference purposes only. It may not be sold, broadcast or used for any other commercial purpose."
The Bing Crosby Special: Makin' Movies was an NBC TV musical special that aired on October 23, 1968. The producers assembled an all-star cast including Bob Hope, Miss Stella Stevens, Jose Feliciano, with special performances by Diana Ross & The Supremes. The show was shot at Paramount Studios with posters for Paint Your Wagon, True Grit, and other movies.
This LP was never commercially released. It was pressed for employees and friends of the network.
