Future Retro presents 'FR049', a rare V/A from the label plotting the sharpest, latest curves in the jungle genre. Nebula opens with 'Sounds From The Jungle', a textured, immersive cut reflecting his work on Scientific Wax and Subtle Audio, while Submerse follows with the desert-bound asperiser 'Nobody Knows', de-emphasising atmosphere for a near drum-centric scuzzup. ASC contributes 'Volt', revisiting the jungle roots he explored before his minimal and autonomic drum & bass period, before Jesta closes with 'Feel Like I Could Fly', where drums become elements of tuned atmos and flow-riding vocals.
