Description
Here we have a "one off" demo from Neil Christian & The Crusaders. In 1962 Albert Lee replaced Jimmy Page on lead guitar. Bass player Jimmy 'Jumbo' Spicer was replaced with Andy 'Avid' Anderson. This new 'line up' of The Crusaders recorded 2 tracks with Decca Records. The 'A' Side was Feel In A Mood and the 'B' side was Just A Dream. This demo was never released and was put on the shelf. It stayed in Neil's collection until he died in January of this year. He was a good friend of mine.
The condition of the record has surface marks and surface noise, there is a 'click' on Feel In A Mood but both sides play from start to finish. The demo is slightly smaller than most seven inch records and measures six and a half inches across. This must be a very rare recording if you collect anything by Neil Christian or Albert Lee.
