Description

On offer is an original 1966 stereo pressing of Neil Diamond's first LP, The Feel of Neil Diamond, BLP 214 on the Bang label, at that time a subsidiary of Atlantic Records.
Wow.  I had only heard these songs played over the radio in many years gone by.  Cherry, Cherry on a decent stereo system blew me away -- all kind of things going on in the music and backup voices that I'd never heard before.
The record plays great, sounds great -- full and clear.  There is occasional slight surface noise in quiet passages but nothing significant.  The vinyl has much of its original shine and gloss.  It has a some surface marks and hairlines, but nothing that qualifies as an actual scratch.  I grade it Very Good Plus.
The cover is in Very Good condition.  It has no writing or creasing.  The spine is in nice shape but there is wear to edges and corners.  See photos.  And at the top edge there is a three-inch split beginning at the opening for the record.
