This radio show series from the early 1970’s typically featured snippets of contemporary singles along with comments by the artists. The artist commentaries are sometimes responses to on air telephone interviews with host Bill Huie, or comments that are pieced together from other uncredited sources. Generally they run less than five minutes and are not “in depth” interviews. The series was produced by and for Presbyterian Church USA in Atlanta, GA. Although only issued as singles, this is a desirable radio interview series featuring a wide variety of major artists.
These “interview” 45's were sent for radio station play only and never commercially released or for sale. Contractually they were to be destroyed after airing. The records are difficult to find in general, and especially in Mint or excellent condition.
