During the late 50's and early 60's, RCA often issued demos as two seperate discs and to find a matching pair featuring both sides can be difficult as most pairings ended up being split. Here we have a very nice pair of 1959 green label demos both of which play superbly from NEIL SEDAKA with;
Disc 1: "OH CAROL!" with matrix number K2PB 5361 with the factory applied rubber stamped catalogue number RCA1152 with hand written running time. This copy remains in mint minus condition with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with very light surface surface sleeve rubs not affecting play. It has the 3-prong triangular centre.
Disc 2: "ONE WAY TICKET" with matrix number K2PB 5362 with the factory applied rubber stamped catalogue number RCA1152 with hand written running time. This copy remains in a strong excellent plus verging more towards mint minus condition with minimal crackle on the run-in and run-out groove and with light surface surface sleeve rubs not affecting play. It has the solid centre.
Paired with an original company sleeve and very much a top pair of copies for the collector (see picture scans).
