Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1970 first pressing copy of Neil Young's After the Gold Rush LP on Reprise RS-6383. Original pre-Warner logo labels, foldout lyric insert, and error credits. On the back Nils Lofgren is credited for the piano, but on all subsequent copies it reads Neil Young. Also the song Cripple Creek Ferry is listed as “Crippled Creek Ferry”. Only the earliest copies had these errors. A true first pressing. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The gatefold cover has barely any wear at all, with only faint ringwear evident on the back, a small name written on the back at the left edge, and some very minor edge whitening in places, but barely. Really this is an unbelievably clean and crisp cover. The lyric poster is also included and is in great shape. This is truly a top original copy, near impossible to beat.
