PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
RARE original Specialty/Mastering Lab first pressing from 1988 on Reprise with blue & white printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and $8.99 Rolling Stones Records (represent, Chicago!) price sticker with iconic balloon lettering!!! LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap. You will not be disappointed. Auction also includes a pair of ULTRA RARE original rigid, two-sided, in-store 12" X 12" promotional displays put out by Reprise Records in 1988 with glossy album cover image of the This Note's For You LP on one side!!! I bought these many years ago from a former Tower Records manager here in Chicago who was a Neil Young fan and decided to rescue them from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive). She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed. Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s. These are the kinds of rare items Neil Young fans are going to be fighting over in the very near future so don't sleep. You won't see another lot like this again.

GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
