NEIL YOUNG - DOOM TRILOGY : TIME FADES AWAY, ON THE BEACH & TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT
Don't get too excited. All 3 records have their problems. Please read the notes, I don't want a buyer to be disappointed. Time Fades Away is a German reissue of the German original. There are 3 small indentations in the vinyl (a pressing fault I guess) which cause intermittent small clicks when they appear. Otherwise there is some surface noise and odd small clicks. I would think some of the noise may disappear with a good clean. On The Beach has a couple of small clicks on Walk On and the same near the end of For The Turnstiles. Again there is some on and off surface noise. Side 2 plays ok, any surface noise is minimal. Tonight's The Night has some obvious surface noise at the start of side 1 for about 15 seconds and there is more surface noise and small clicks on and off throughout the rest of the side. Side 2 plays ok. Again there is surface noise and the odd click but not too bad. Again, a good clean might tidy it up a bit. The sleeves all show signs of shelf wear, ring wear and some creasing but bear in mind they are all well over 40 years old. On The Beach and Time Fades Away are both reissues but I bought them around the late 1970s/early 1980s. Time Fades Away has a printed inner sleeve but no lyric sheet. On The Beach just has a generic paper inner sleeve. Tonight's The Night has a gatefold sleeve with a paper inner sleeve. I bought it around the same time as the others. I think this may be an original copy but I'm really not 100% sure as I can't find it the exact one on discogs. I've included photos of the labels of all 3 records if you want to check them out.
