Description

This was Neil Young’s fourth solo album and quickly became his most commercially successful, by far. It was the best selling album of 1972 and included a couple of major hits for the artist, including number one hit “Heart Of Gold”. Support for the recording was provided by an impressive array of performers, including: Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and last but not least, the London Symphony Orchestra. This is definitely a classic. It was released on Reprise in 1972, number MS 2032.

This is the original release of the album and includes the original LP sleeve but is missing the poster. The vinyl is in exceptional condition with just a couple of very light surface scratches and a few light paper scuffs. The vinyl plays beautifully with just occasional light background noise. The vinyl grades EX. The gatefold album cover shows no sign of ring wear. There are some numbers written in ink on the front of the cover. The corners and seams show some very light wear. The gatefold pocket for the LP has separated on the top and bottom roughly 3"-4" but still holds the record securely. The cover grades VG.
