NEIL YOUNG - HARVEST
Lovely condition with the superb stereo sound quality being a real standout
Year/Label : 1972 HARVEST UK Label number : K 54005 Matrix numbers : K-54005-A3, K-54005-B3 with "EG 1" on each run-out also Stampers : W - 3 / W - 4 KDExcellent (EX) condition vinyl - completely flat, retaining a gorgeous jet black sheen and in normal daylight comes across as unmarked. It is only with close inspection under a bright light that some extremely fine paper scuff lines and just one or two wispy hairlines come into view on each side - purely superficial with nothing obvious, feelable or sufficient to impinge upon the truly excellent stereo sound quality. The labels are excellent plus (EX+) with the only blemishes being a few small and very faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label - otherwise perfect! A very good plus (VG+) condition non-laminated Gothic print gatefold outer sleeve with firm edges, rigid spine with all spine text remaining perfectly intact, near perfectly defined right-angled corners with barely any rubbing, firm opening edges with no fraying, and all colours, art work and text remaining vibrant and beautifully intact.The only blemishes are a 2.5cm scuff in the middle of the reverse side top edge, a 3cm scuff in the middle of the reverse side bottom edge encompassing a 2cm seam split, and a very faint non-obvious 7cm diagonal crease towards the top right corner. I should say that if it were not for the two aforementioned edge scuffs and single 2cm seam split I would have no hesitation in grading the sleeve condition as "excellent plus". Excellent plus (EX+) STEREO sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, or distortion and no clicks apart from the very occasional light random static click and the odd nano second of very minor background light crackle -negligible and not impacting upon the great stereo sound quality at all. Great tone and clarity throughout with every track a great listen. Comes with original and perfect condition rough/matte surface single fold lyric inner. Comes with original and excellent condition plain white "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" and "PATENT Nos..." inner sleeve with no splits or edge fraying, and barely any creasing or age discolouration. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. An overall great copy of this 1972 UK 1st press Neil Young classic, with the brilliant stereo sound quality being a true highlight.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
