Description
I'm continuing to slim down my record collection ahead of a house move and these are 2 Neil Young lps which are duplicates in that collection and which I feel belong together!
They are the 1970 release 'After The Gold Rush' and 'Harvest' from 1972, both on the Reprise yellow steam boat label.
Both are gatefold sleeve and each comes with their original insert.
The records have been very carefully looked after, both have a nice shine and each grades as excellent condition under the Record Collector grading system. The sleeves are very decent, just a little marking front bottom right on 'Harvest' and light wear that would be expected given the age of the items.
These are very early pressings. 'After The Gold Rush' has 1st pressing matrix numbers of RSLP 6383A1-* and B1-* on the run out grooves and the insert has a paper feel rather than the gloss feel of inserts that came with later pressings. The insert is in excellent condition.
'Harvest' has the original textured outer gatefold sleeve and the original textured inner sleeve and again the inset is in excellent condition. The machine etched matrix numbers on the run out grooves are K54005 A 2C on side 1 and B2 on side 2. There are also hand etched matrices of MS 2032 31176-2C on side and MS 2032 1 31177-2B on side 2.
