NEIL YOUNG
HARVEST
Label : Reprise Catalogue No : K54005 Matrix : K54005 A4//B1 Issue : UK Complete 1st Press
This is the UK 1st press of 'Harvest' by Neil Young. This genuine 1st press has the original extremely heavy flat edge vinyl and orange matt Reprise label. It has the earliest A4/B1 matrix and is complete with the original brown inner sleeve and printed lyric insert. The record has the textured brown card gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. It has a superb high gloss, every track has unworn seep grooves, there is just a light mark on Side 2 and a few wispy hairlines. The Reprise labels are also extremely clean, the colour is bold and the black text is sharp. There is only the slightest spindle wear and slight spider marks. On playing the sound is warm, very rich and clear.
The original brown inner sleeve is in Excellent condition. There is a small tiny mark otherwise this sleeve is in rare superb condition. The edges are firm, there are NO edge splits and the opening edge is sharp.
The lyric inner is in Excellent condition. The brown is clean, the black is solid, the text is sharp and the edges are extremely firm.
The original sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. This record was stored in a sleeve for years and as such has remained exceptionally solid. The brown and black are bold and the orange is bright. The edges are very firm and have only the very light corner wear. The inside is absolutely fabulous, like new. The whole sleeve still feels very solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
