NEIL YOUNG - NEIL YOUNG. 1968 1st PRESS STEAMBOAT REPRISE ALBUM RSLP 6317. EXCELLENT CONDITION . BOTH COVER AND RECORD.
This is a STUNNING COPY!! I've played the album and from the opening cords on the instramental country track on side one The Emperor of Wyoming then into the electric rock riffs of The Loner, through to the last track The old laughing lady, there are are no clicks or pops, i'd have to say you'd be hard pushed to find a better Quaulity Copy. The AUDIO SOUND is a CLEAR and UNDISTORTED. Side Two opens the same way, the strange, String Quartet from Whiskey Boot Hill. Then the wimsicle Here We Are in theYears, all the tracks are clear of crackle this is a FANTASTIC album, The young Neil Young sounds like a true rock legend even from this, his very first solo album.
If your a record collector or a Neil Young Fan, you'd be hard pushed to find another copy as magnificant as this. A sound investment.
The cover of this first generation LP has no artists name on the top of the front of the cover. Illustrating that this is the very first issue from 1968 and is very rare indeed as he was a very unknown artist at this time.
