This mega-rare 1989 5 track ( 25 minute) EP 'Eldorado' contains different mixes of three songs that subsequently appeared on Young's 1989 album Freedom ( "Don't Cry," "On Broadway," and "Eldorado") plus two tracks not available on any other recording in "Cocaine Eyes" and "Heavy Love". The "Don't Cry" track here is longer than the later version published on ‘Freedom’ where some of the more free-form guitar work was, at the insistence of co-producers, edited out.
The overall result here is a real solid piece of work powerful songs with Neil’s fierce playing top-shelf … in fact he really belts it out with searing loud, distorted and even experimental guitar bursts reminiscent of his Crazy Horse ‘daze’ and it's easy to see why this is considered a ‘5 Star’ release.

CONDITION: Note : All records (except where Mint) have been vacuum-machine cleaned and fully played on a quality system to determine an accurate grading.
While I endeavour to be as honest as possible with my condition appraisal the nature of vinyl is such that it is inevitable that a I will miss some form of background noise at some point … different Needles, Stylus's (depending on wear) and players will pick up some clicks, crackles and hiss so I can't guarantee total correctness once you play them.
*** Most records no matter how well they have been looked after will have some hairline marks which occur during the removal and re-inserting the vinyl from the inner sleeve. Generally speaking these surface scuffs have little or no impact on the audio-quality.

VINYL : A glorious platter here that appears barely played. It presents superbly with a couple of very faint / light handling marks only. Awesome ‘as new’ playback ( no pops, skips etc ) and the dynamic sound is closer to NEAR MINT than EX+ for mine.
LABELS : Clean as per photos above.
SLEEVE : The front is ‘as new’ (see pics). No marks, ring-wear, splits, creases, writing etc. The rear cover shows some storage-rubbing, otherwise no concerns. Worthy of an Ex to EX+ grade.
Overall a better original copy would be near impossible to find these days I would think.
POSTAGE : I pack safely & securely. I combine postage costs for multiple items where practical.
