Live recording of the great and, if I recollect, short-lived 1976 tour Neil Young and Stephen Stills did together. It’s an audience recording, certainly not great, but good enough that the music and excitement come through.
It is multi-colored splatter vinyl on a clear base. The cover still has its shrink warp. This is an excellent condition copy from the Beggar’s Banquet collection, Anaheim’s long-gone “Underground” record store, boxed away for decades. I think this album was released on Vibrator Records by Lou, the So Cal schoolteacher who put out the first Springsteen boots.
Songs include “Love the One You’re With,” “For What It’s Worth,” “Helpless,” “Southern Man,” “Cowgirl in the Sand,” “Loner” and “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” and boy is there some fun guitar interplay throughout.
