Description
Up for auction is NEIL YOUNG's third live album from the 1990's called 'Year Of The Horse' released on REPRISE RECORDS (cat. no. 9362-46652-1). Recorded with his old buddies from CRAZY HORSE this album complemented the Jim Jarmusch film of the same title. This 1997 German high-quality pressing is in outstanding EXCELLENT++ condition!
The RECORD SLEEVE is still in it's original factory shrink-wrap (though opened) and in great condition, i.e. it shows NO unwanted writing, NO seam splits, NO sticker marks, NO bumped corners, etc.! I can see a tiny little crease through the shrink at the bottom right hand side of the back panel close to the spine (nothing to the front panel though!). I will therefore (down-)grade the SLEEVE as in NEAR MINT- condition!
All four sides of the black vinyl RECORD are in EXCELLENT++ condition & still mirror-like! There are absolutely NO scratches or severe marks to report of! What I can see under a strong lamp though are a few superficial and very, very light marks, that are not audible! Satisfaction guaranteed! I stick to the 'RECORD COLLECTOR' grading system (please see below).
All four RECORD LABELS are in EXCELLENT++ condition – a number of minor spidermarks around the spindle-holes of DISC ONE / SIDE ONE and DISC TWO / SIDE FOUR. Again, I'm very, very picky here! These spidermarks are hardly visible & I just try to be as honest and fair as I can be...

The album will be mailed to the lucky winner in a stiff cardboard record box with extra cardboard stiffeners for best possible protection during transport! The experience and fun of buying records on eBay is ruined if you discover that – once the album arrives – they are either not in the condition stated or have been damaged in the post! For this reason I try to describe all my items in detail, and only post using strong sturdy packaging. Please see my excellent feedback especially in terms of packaging! My records are also from a smoke- and pet-free home.
GRADING GUIDE:
MINT: The Record Itself Is In Brand New Condition With No Surface Marks Or Deterioration In Sound Quality. The Cover And Any Extra Items Such As The Lyric Sheet, Booklet Or Poster Are In Perfect Condition. Records Advertised, As Sealed Or Unplayed Should Be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The Record Shows Some Signs Of Having Been Played, But There Is Very Little Lessening In Sound Quality. The Cover And Packaging Might Have Slight Wear And / Or Creasing.
VERY GOOD: The Record Has Obviously Been Played Many Times, But Displays No Major Deterioration In Sound Quality, Despite Noticeable Surface Marks And The Occasional Light Scratch. Normal Wear And Tear On The Cover Or Extra Items, Without Any Major Defects, Is Acceptable.
