ATTENTION!
St*neyBl*ke / Mint-Minus Records is currently using a KEITH MONKS 'Prodigy' professional record-cleaning machine to enhance the vinyl service. The Prodigy is the latest model of record-cleaning machine (available for the first time in 2020), from the World-renowned Keith Monks company and is already receiving excellent reviews in the HI-Fi press. The machine has been acquired in order to increase the quality of the vinyl that is sold through this site to the highest level possible, and the machine does give excellent results.
What difference does this make to the records that are advertised here?
From this point on ALL vinyl that I sell will have been cleaned using this machine, combined with a specially formulated KEITH MONKS or ART DU SON record-cleaning solution made from pure bio-degradable ingredients.
PROCEDURE
1) Firstly the disc will be cleaned as described above 2) The disc will then be FULLY play-graded, to enable an accurate grading for the advert. I am happy to offer this service. This is done on a very high quality Linn Sondek turntable fitted with a £100 Goldring Moving-magnet cartridge.
Gradings are made according to the Record Collector Magazine grading system.
This is the 1975 LP by Neil Young, released November 1975. 2nd pressing (1976). Released on the Reprise Records label, distributed by WEA Records Ltd. Catalogue number: K54057 (MS 2242) Runout matrixes: A2 (etched) ALLEN 1-S B2 (stamped) 1-S
This copy is a full UK pressing and has the following attributes: * The outer sleeve is a soft card style, the same as a first pressing. * The inner sleeve is a smooth card style with cut aways, similar to a 1st pressing. * The lyric sheet is the same as a 1st pressing, but is not printed on soft paper like a 1st pressing. * The labels have a slightly different text layout to a 1st pressing. * Sleeve: Shorepak by Shorewood Packaging Co.Ltd. England.

There is not a shortage of 2nd hand copies of this album. However, it would be very difficult to find an early pressing like this with the disc in this condition. The disc has NO fault issues, clean surfaces and test played superbly!
DISC: SIDE 1: EX+ // no marks / no skipping or sticking / not worn / not warped / labels clean / pressed on centre
DISC: SIDE 2: EX+ // one small mark, no effect on play / no skipping or sticking / not worn / not warped / labels clean / pressed on centre
SLEEVE: VG+ // clean / no marks or writing / no tears, splits or edge slicing anywhere / no ring wear / spine has some age discolouration but is straight and square with all text legible.
PICTURE INNER: VG+ // clean / no tears, splits or edge slicing / virtually no ring wear / There is an inked stamp of a shop on one side which I have not been able to remove.
