Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
British punk monster from 1977. Old eBay prices: £122 + £100 + £89. Please go to YouTube and listen to the killer-killer-killer track 'Regulations'. This song includes all the elements of a true punk anthem, topped with great lyrics. This is the first edition of the original first pressing because only initial records were marked with 'Side 1' and 'Side 2' on the labels and without 'MADE IN ENGLAND' being added to the text circling the labels. Released on their own private mini label ‘Neon Hearts’ records (catalogue number NEON 1). The track 'Regulations' is such a classic that almost no-one paid any attention to the excellent flip ‘Venus Eccentric’. Here you have the first and best 7" release by NEON HEARTS. The band includes Martin Ratcliffe and Keith Allen who would later found Mod group The CIRCLES. The band also features Steve Heart formerly of punk band SUBURBAN STUDS and Paul Raven (R.I.P.) who later played with KILLING JOKE. Their debut 7" was only released in an original oversized 8” sleeve. That means most sleeves are looking used....but not this one. Please have a look on both label etiquettes because 'Side 1' and 'Side 2' were crossed-out with a black marker. The reason for it is very simple: the labels are reserved. That means the A-side plays the B-side and vice versa. Whilst not specifically marked as such, records with 'Side 1' and 'Side 2' printed on the labels may have been used as promos which may have been sent to radio stations.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
