Description
Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
The name of this band is DIE NEUE PRÄCHTIKEIT, a superb and rare record. eBay prices: $68 + €23. Their only 7“ includes the excellent song ‘Überzeugen’. The legendary Do-It-Yourself punk label ‘Rondo’ records with their slogan ’Höre – Staune - Gute Laune’ (Listen - Be Astonished - Feel Great) kicked out this great record in 1980. The excellent flip is entitled ‘Du’. Campino and his first band ZK (pre-TOTEN HOSEN) also released their two singles and their first album on this cult label. Mister Rondo Records, Franz Bielmeier aka Monroe, wrote on his Rondo website:

"Diese drei Herren aus Norddeutschland, von denen wir eine geheimnisvolle Demo-Cassette erhalten hatten, besuchten uns in Düsseldorf, um in der Klangwerkstatt zwei Stücke aufzunehmen, die aber unter den dortigen Bedingungen irgendwie nicht so recht funktionieren wollten. Wir versuchten die fehlende Magie durch Produktionsgags wie rhythmisches Zerreissen von Telefonbüchern und debile Dialoge zu ersetzen. Die Democassette ist leider verschwunden, aber die daraus gezogene Lehre nicht." ["These three gentlemen from the north of Germany, who had sent us a mysterious demo tape, came to visit us in Düsseldorf to record two tracks at Klangwerkstatt which didn't really work out under the conditions there. We tried to make up for the lack of magic with productional gimmicks, like rhythmically tearing up phone books and moronic monologues. The demo tape sadly has disappeared, but the lesson learnt from it all has not."
The bottom of the sleeve is slightly water-damaged otherwise the condition is:

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
