Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "The New Lost City Ramblers With Cousin Emmy" - by The Ramblers and Emmy on the Folkways Records label (FTS 31015) in wonderfully clear original sound (though it is Folkways "simulated stereo" - but theirs was the least offensive of them all), released in 1968. CONDITION: JACKET - VG+(Light to moderate edge/corner wear; more extensive moisture wear at center of bottom seam; otherwise, no marks or tears; it's a treasure); VINYL - VG++/Near Mint (The clear and bright vinyl has only a few very light scuffs; it does have some slight "rippling" across parts of side 1...I have played the record and hear only very light noise between tracks - Visually Graded).  SPECIAL FEATURES: A rare collection of The Ramblers with "Cousin Emmy" (Cynthia May Carver) whose delivery was described as "Sophie Tucker from the country" by Mike Seeger; Emmy plays some intense banjo to go with her very intense singing (Caution: May not be suitable for younger ears!!); if you know the album then you know just what I mean.  TRACKS: Old Tim Brooks, A Home In Old Kentucky, I'm Going 'Cross the Sea, Pretty Little Miss Out In the Garden, Little Joe, Ruby Are You Mad At Your Man, Dance All Night With a Bottle In Your Hand, Lost John, Bowling Green, Cat's Got the Measles, Mother's Grave, Chilly Scenes of Winter, Graveyard, Johnny Booker, Scat Tom Kitty Puss, and Shortening Bread.
