Description
This is an overall fine copy from an early U.K. repress (A1/B2 matrix #s) of the breakthrough 1983 single by British group New Order. A top ten hit in the group's home country, the record introduced their signature danceable sound. The b side is a mostly instrumental version of the single with some doctored vocals. The record was stored in a box that was damaged during a move, and as a result the die-cut jacket has some substantial creasing in one corner, along with some creasing elsewhere and a little light scuffing -- VG(+). Visually, the disc is clean with a little light scuffing on side 2. A slight warp at the lip of the disc causes an almost inaudible squeak in the first several seconds of side 1. It otherwise plays with a little light surface noise at the start of side 2 -- overall EX.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
