ITEM:

This is a very special collectable for fans of New Order and Depeche Mode alike. It's a test pressing from 1983 sent out to both bands by the pressing plant.
One side is New Order 'Confusion' Radio Edit (FAC 93). This seven-inch only track is rare in itself. The other side is Depeche Mode's 'Love In Itself' (7 BONG 4). Please see the slideshow below for pictures of these catalogue numbers on the run-out grooves.

The seven inch was given to me by a member of New Order manager Rob Gretton's family. Usually with test pressings of this kind, only around 10 copies are made. It is obviously a super-rare, authentic item. If you would like to speak to me in more detail about its provenance before bidding, please get in touch via email and I will send my phone number.

CONDITION:

This seven inch is in fantastic condition. It plays through on both sides without a single click or crackle. There are very, very light surface marks visible under harsh light. The sleeve is just a generic white paper sleeve.
