Description
I adore New Order and this is where it all started following the tragic death of Ian Curtis and the end of the mighty Joy Division. Next, the band would change the face of dance music as we know it and Blue Monday would install them as arguably the greatest UK electronic band ever. Vinyl is EX and cover is VG++ - vinyl looks virtually unplayed, cover is excellent except for a 4cm seam split at the top centre, a small fold bottom left front and a touch of shelf wear on the back. UK second issue - the A5 pressing. Collectible. FACT.50, UK 2nd issue - the A5 pressing. BTW: Cover is a lot bluer than the photo shows!!!
Identifiers:
Comes in plain white paper sleeve with:
PATENT Nos.1,125.555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN G.H.Same pressing ring and runout etching as on the test pressing for the album.
The "DW" in the matrix resembles a cursive capital D with a capital W superimposed within the loop.
