First issued in USA Feb.1982, even though cover Graphics states 1981 ...any sellers stating any USA pressing in 1981 simply haven't checked.
FIRST USA PRESSING • TRANSLUCENT VINYL TEXTURED COVER • Burgundy/Silver Labels Original FACTORY LOGO Inner Sleeve
VINYL is NM / NM-
Full Gloss Vinyl is super clean both sides; with only a single tiny faint surface scuff at beginning of Side one that is barely visible - and 100% inaudible. Side Two is Pristine. Labels are superb both sides with no spindle marks.

COVER is VG+
Snapping bright, spanking clean 'rough' open texture delicate cover is remarkably free of soil, discoloration, moisture effects, rub marks, creases or wear. Crisp and solid with straight edges and sharp corners all around. Seams and spine 100% intact with no wear or splits. Small, faint mark from removed sticker in u.r. corner is only real blemish - this is only a slightly darker rectangular spot; NO residue, paper remains, tears or pull to the cover surface - but because it is there I am grading at VG+. Otherwise Near Mint.

VERY FIRST USA PRESSING of NEW ORDER's FIRST LP with red translucent vinyl (appears translucent red when held to light), and run-out groove width of around 2 cm., both sides of vinyl (later US-pressings are much narrower). Silver print on burgundy color labels.
Burgundy / black artwork on lightly textured raw off-white cover stock.
Complete with the original anti-static lined FACTORY inner sleeve, printed with burgundy “FCL NR . 50” and Factory Records ANVIL/Cog/Hammer logo at bottom, one side. SEE PHOTO #4.

(ie: I would be happy to ship to France EXCEPT for Isle de France (where almost all bogus 'NOT RECEIVED' cases come from ... but sadly I have to block France entirely to avoid those scams.
