New Order:
Substance
Rare Limited Edition 2x12” Vinyl promo
Only 1,000 pressed!!!
· Mint condition
(I have played a few seconds of each track-intro to confirm the tracklisting)
· Each copy is numbered:
This copy is stamped 0541 on the rear-sleeve (see pics)
· Peter Saville-designed sleeve
This item has been in storage pretty much since the time of release, and the discs have only been played in the manner outlined above.
I would describe the sleeve condition as ‘Excellent’ rather than Mint however, but only due to being able to see faint traces of the discs inside. (I like to be exact about these things, unlike some purveyors of vinyl out there!)
The discs themselves contain no information on tracklisting etc, just the Peter Saville artwork.
The front-sleeve has 2 inscriptions:
Top:
“I used to think that this day would never come”
Bottom:
The Gatefold Substance-New Order-Limited Edition of 1000 copies.
The rear-sleeve has one inscription at the bottom:
Fact 200. Album One-Conch shell red. Album Two-Peony blue. Not for resale unless desperate.
The run-out grooves for each of the 4 sides contain the following enigmatic inscriptions:
A: The Pleasure and the Pain
B: Goodbye Davy Pils 27/12/78
C: Of an extended childhood
D: Steven won’t go to Stockport
