Description
Technique is the fifth studio album by the English band New Order, released in 1989. Partly recorded on the island of Ibiza, it incorporates Balearic beat and acid house influences into the group's dance / rock sound. Technique was the first New Order album to reach number one in the UK charts. "Fine Time", the first single from the album, reached number 11. Remixed versions of "Round & Round" and "Run" were also released as singles.
The album was influenced by the then growing acid scene, and Sumner's experiences in the 500 Club in New York and the electronic music nights London's Shroom. It was the first in a few of their albums where Peter Hook's bass sound was predominant.
This release if the original US issue on QWEST records with the original inner sleeve. The record is shiny and clean with no visible defects. The inner sleeve has splits on two sides and a crease in the top right hand corner. The jacket has a gold promo stamp on the front as well as a hype sticker, but other than light edge wear is in great shape (see photos). Grading is visual only.

Shipped in a cardboard record mailer with cardboard inserts. LP's packed with inner sleeve outside the jacket, and in an additional inner sleeve outside printed inner sleeve (if printed inner sleeve present). All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
