SINATRA - MFSL Original Master Recording, 16 Half-Speed Mastered Albums, Mint- . These albums came from an estate of a record collector who was interested in collecting unique records, but not necessarily playing them. The head of the estate liquidator claimed that these records where part of a collection that the gentleman had received, but never played. I have carefully examined each side of the sixteen albums and have found them to be in pristine condition. I have photographed each side of each record and have placed three albums in the auction as a sample of the quality of the complete set. eBay does not allow more than twelve photos on an auction, so I could not show the remaining 26 photos. Contact me if you want to see the other photos. I was tempted to play one of the records just to hear the quality of the sound, but I realized that this collection is more important as a history of the Sinatra legacy and shouldn't be tampered with. I play my records and I have plenty of Sinatra albums to listen to and individual MFSL albums are available on eBay, but this collection is something special. All the material in this auction is original from MFSL. Included are the 16 albums with sleeves, liners and a listing of the musicians who perform on each song, the individually numbered presentation case and a Geo-Disk cartridge alignment tool to ensure you get the most out of each recording. This collection is serial # 9017 and was pressed on HD Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan in 1983.
Note : The external case has a few marks on it, but I was reluctant to try to remove them so as not to cause any damage to the case. I will leave that up to the new owner.
