NEW RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE 1st LP NM w/ Jerry Garcia Grateful Dead PROMO

Description

First pressing with embossed circular logo and photo in back. Superb sonics because Steve Barncard engineered and produced. He was behind the board for American Beauty, Deja Vu, Tarkio Road, David Crosby's solo The sound is warm, balanced, clean with liquid low-end, natural vocals and smooth top. The Dead had just finished recording American Beauty with Barncard and the NRPS had  been opening shows for them so it was natural to do this album. Jerry's pedal steel is all over this project and  I swear I hear Phil Lesh's unmistakable bass on a few cuts.  A great listening experience and true first pressing 1-A dead wax both sides! All vinyl is cleaned and play-graded.  We use U-Line record mailers for the safe shipping of this vintage disc.  Check out our other items!
