ITEM:    Monster Prog-Psych LP,  " A Call to Brokeness " , by the New Jersey area Christian hard rock band "The Living Sacrifice Band".   Shekinah  Records  catalog number 3019 STEREO. 

NOTE: THIS BAND "THE LIVING SACRIFICE BAND" IS NOT THE SAME BAND AS THE DEATH ROCK BAND "LIVING SACRIFICE". THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT BANDS WITH COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MEMBERS.   

COMMENTS/CONDITION: This LP came from a private collection. It is not a beat up record bought at a yard sale. The record is visually graded, and was not test played. Grading is according to Goldmine Standards. If you are not familiar with that system, please go to the Goldmine web site and read the grading details BEFORE YOU BID.

According to the local record dealer that sold me this LP many years ago, this was the group's third album and only a few hundred were produced. Supposedly most of the unsold LP's were packed away in the storage room of one of the members' church. After several years, the storage room was cleaned out and the albums were discarded with other items that were in the room.

I researched this LP to see if any other sealed copies had been sold online. I only found one, which was sold in 2007 for well over $500.

The album is still factory sealed in unopened shrink wrap, no stickers, labels, or price tags. Shrink wrap is nice and snug, but does have visible scuffs and wear from handling and surviving a number of moves I made over the years. The cellophane has a few small rips and 2 pieces of cellophane are missing from the front and back. There are 3 small tears, less than 1 inch each, along the right edge. Each corner has small tears where the tips have started to protrude through the shrink wrap. Minor scuffs and ring/rub wear can be seen on the cellophane. I have not tried to clean the shrink wrap, other than wiping it with a soft cotton cloth to remove dust. I will leave any cleaning to the discretion of the new owner.

The cover is in very good condition, with crisp pictures and graphics. There is light scuffing to the corner tips which have started to protrude through the cellophane. No bent over corners, no heavy grease lines. This is not a cut-out; no punch holes, notches, or clipped corners.
