Chicago, Illinois, November 17, 1992 This Neil Young concert finds the benchmark singer-songwriter-rocker at a transition point in his long, important career.

He'd been recently "rediscovered" and claimed by the grunge-rockers and their flannel-shirt-wearing audience - and his new album "Harvest Moon"presented a batch of folk- and country-influenced songs that recalled his earliest work.

The eclecticism of this period, and of his entire career, has made Neil Young a kind of icon of American music from the most aggressive, distorted rock to the most sensitive folk.
