In addition to my other high-quality vinyl auctions, I’m currently posting a small sample from my vast inventory of 1000s of LPs featuring bizarre covers and weird content - what I call "black gems". From the elegant and beautiful, to the tasteless, tacky and just plain awful! Everything from clowns and puppets to kids and animals, bad hair and fashion, cheesecake, drugs, magic, space travel, celebrities, outsiders/real people, risque and much, much more!I’ve been specializing in these BLACK GEM RECORDS for years.
This LP – along with the other bizarre "black gem records" for auction – is posted primarily for the FRONT ALBUM COVER ART. Seam splits and front cover flaws are noted in the descriptions. While VINYL CONDITIONS ARE STRONG FOR THE VAST MAJORITY (clean/strong VG or better), this is not always the case. So if either back cover or vinyl condition is important to you, please let me know and I'll double-check. DESCRIPTION/OTHER INFO: Rarer and equally-bizarre companion LP to "Muhammad Ali Fights Mr. Tooth Decay". This one includes Ali, too, as well as Jimmy Carter, Howard Cosell, Frank Sinatra, Lily Tomlin, Richie Havens, Billie Jean King and others! Back cover features a ridiculous illustration of Ali fighting "Mr. Tooth Decay" - who looks like a white Darth Vader (another "Great White Hope"?) - in a boxing ring inside of a mouth!
