Description

Here is a RARE classic vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: The ORIGINAL 1967 1st LP album by Big Brother and the Holding Company featuring then still unknown Janis Joplin, their debut album, in great playing condition! This is the 1st pressing, released on Mainstream records. This is a factory mismatch with a stereo disc 6009 and a 56099 MONO cover with factory STEREO sticker in corner. (these factory mismatches are the result of extra mono covers left over after the limited mono pressings that were made) . There was only a limited mono pressing as most had gone to stereo by this time. The cover rates VG+, the color is excellent, white bright, the binder edge is EX, readable, no splits, there some wear in the top corner at opening, no signatures. (see photos) The heavy weight record rates VG+, is glossy and clean with some light marks, nothing heavy, a couple factory dimples that don't effect play. Record has been PLAY TESTED. Plays great from start to finish with very good sound quality! A very enjoyable listen, no skips, no jumps, or intrusive surface noise! Own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price! Vinyl will be shipped in sleeve outside cover to prevent splits. Will be shipped in a protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Check out other RARE record gems on my seller's list!!
